A Word About Searching For Properties at The lake
If you elect to use the Property Search function (upper right) you limit your search to one Zip Code at a time. Because Smith Mountain Lake is so large – over 500 miles of shoreline – it encompasses five ZIP Codes 24121, 24184, 24187, 24101, and 24137. Alternatively you can simply click on Google Powered Map Search (top center) and use the pull-down menus to enter your criteria (no zip code required). Please note the Advanced Criteria option on the upper right corner of the Google Search Map.

My wife Margy and I traveled the country during my 20 years as a Navy Officer and sixteen years as a consultant to the US Government.
